it has nothing to do with antivirus, firewall or uninstalling the game. your code is not genuine. that's why you can not join the server.

Agree....it's more than likely not genuine

But it's not always 100% the case

I think it's easier to start with the obvious first....

Mine is 100% genuine and I use to get them when my Mic wasn't pluged in...(use to get iw3mp error code)

So...when I joined again it said "key code in use "

Plugged the mic in and disabled the router firewall and I've never had it again

Sometimes the router can play havoc with pb and other probs...especially if it's on your highest security setting

no guys it was not me i reinstalled the game but same happens i entered my genuine key again but same problem occurs keycode in use

yogi is right guys it connects for a while but game crashed and after that it didn't worked

I would tend to believe that you have a NOT-genuine key, parisis...sorry to say, but it would appear that your key code is ACTUALLY in use and not just 'hung up' due to an unexpected crash or such...I would suggest purchasing a new key from a reputable dealer.

best thing to do is just bye a new game mate its only about Â£9.00 for cod4 on amazon so i would do that mate

If you do buy cod4 mw....get the "game of the year edition"

It already has 1.6/1.7 patches on....and you need them to go on our servers

If you just buy cod4 mw normal one...you will have to download the 1.6/1.7 patch

I still can't understand how she has had the game installed for 3 years with no problem....then crashed out of the game and can't rejoin ??

Personally I still don't think its a duplicate key...but hey im probably wrong

As others have said now parIsis....I think the only way forward is to buy a new game

I really don't no the shipping costs to Pakistan...but considering the difference in price I would still get the game of the year edition....but if you get the normal edition you can still install the 1.6/1.7 patch

It just depends on your budget and confidence on installing the patches
