2021 Xmas Bash

A mix of game styles will mean changing rotation and re starting the server during the bash Billy, and that may cheese some players off. I can however create a mixed game style map rotation before the bash, but that depends on how many want a mixture

I think its best just to leave if FFA and we play on the custom server. Most of the maps on that server are small with some modified stock maps as well.
There's a list of those maps in the new custom server topic, and you can download those map from here:  https://customapscod.com/map_screen.php?game=COD4

That's if you dont want them fast downloading when you join the server.   

If you decide to download them beforehand, then unzip each one to your deskctop. You then need to copy and paste each game folder into your cod4 diectory user maps folder  .

That's fine Billy, beings there will be a 30 min warm up session prior to the bash tonight. I'll be on the custom server at 7.30 Uk time to welcome those who wish to take part, and answer any questions  .

The evening ended up being a great success, but that was only due to the support of a handful of our own dedicated members plus 3 members from the Angrydogs clan. Tess and Anton and several of their regular players from the cats at war made up the main bulk of players that joined us, and I cant thank her and them enough for making the evening a success.  I intend to arrange and host a TDM match in a couple of weeks time with Tess, then we can play against each other and see who the top team players are  .

Tess has suggested we have a new years shootout evening, so i'll get as much information about that from her and make up a new topic as soon as i know whether that will take place  .

Sounds like a plan...sorry my contribution was limited...I had the opportunity to conduct real world exercises and couldn't pass it up. enjoyed the maps with you all.
