well guys i was on the custom server a few days ago and it looks great BTW ( big hats off to Rob and anyone else that may have helped)
anyway i decided to install windows 11 but sadly i had to do it from scratch ! i backed up my cod 4 folder but when i applied it it hasn't worked and giving me a level 0 :( i think my folder has become corrupted, does anyone know a way around this ?
Zed kindly sent me a copy of cod4 and the program to put the game back to level 55. If youve previously held level 55 then i have no objections to you using the level 55 program dave. I'll upload the zip file to my google drive this morning and post a link to you here. Youl then be able to download the cod4 game complete with the level 55 program :).

I'm still uploading the cod 4 game and another version of the level 55 program, and i'll post a direct link to those as soon as ive uploaded them to my google drive ;) :).
Another good tip is to rename the miles folder in the cod4 directory to milles. then you wont get that anoying music in the background anymore whilst playing the game :D. Make sure you also set max packets to 100 in your cfg file, then your ping level will decrease a lot ;).

hi Rob, thanks for that but when i tried to download its saying its a virus and wont let me dl (obviously i know its not a virus )

Only the owner is allowed to download infected files.
try downloading the cod4 game beings that includes the level 55 rank up. my pc informs me it cant check the file for download, but still gives me the option to download it from Peters (zed) google drive. it definetely doesent contain a virus, but it does have a exe file which your anti virus program is detecting as a virus. Try and disable your anti virus and windows defender before downloading the cod4 zip file :).
