Title: New pc
Post by: !TTM!DonPietro 比利 on May 02, 2020, 10:28:06 AM
So I was in real need of a new pc, I was still on the i5 2500k and 750 ti  ::) so thought I'd treat myself :)

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz (Up to 4.35GHz)
16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz (2x8GB)
240GB Maxtor Z1 2.5" SSD & 1TB Seagate BarraCuda
MSI Radeon RX 5700 XT MECH OC 8GB
650W Corsair VS650

LG 32GK650F-B - Monitor

I've only ever had 60 hz monitors and to be honest up until about a week ago I knew bugger all about it all, went for the 144hz with freesync and my god what a difference it makes! everything feels so smooth lol  :)

Nice. I built a Ryzen about 6 months ago. Just don't want to take the time to swap everything over from this rig. Winblowz 10 also on the new box.

So, tell us about the rig now that you have some time on it. Is it everything you wanted it to be? Any regrets as to the hardware/software you went with?

Sorry for the late reply mate.  Yes, it's quality, it does everything I want and runs really well, not had an issue so far.  Only thing was, the case had only 1 fan which saw the temps go through the roof lol so I added a couple more and all is good :) a future upgrade would be a new case but everything inside, I'm delighted with.
