Somebody here, please help lol, I got a new pc the other day and every time I use chrome, it crashes the whole computer!! I just don't get it, it makes no sense.
I installed firefox and it's perfect on that!? as it is on the useless of an excuse of a browser 'edge' but on chrome nope, not having it at all.
Anyone had anything like this?
I was messing around with a spare computer to try and get that to work but the GPU in this machine won't work in that one.. It's doing my bloody head in, GPU problem? I thought it might be the RAM, it's got 16gb and I tested stick by stick but no matter what's in it, the machine crashes on chrome.
I know it's nothing massive, the pc is fine without chrome running but I like chrome, I can't get used to this firefox business at all.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hope everyone here is well, was meant to message you earlier rob but being fiddling about with this lot lol will message back soon mate.
The major reason behind the Google Chrome crash is the Sandbox. It insists the 64-bit version of Chrome to crash. So, in order to fix and retain the 64-bit version of Chrome, use the no-sandbox flag. ... In order do this; right click on the Google Chrome shortcut present at the Desktop and select Properties.

Thank you Rob, I'll give this a go, it's driving me around the bend mate, I've got a funny feeling my GPU is a gonner, or on it's way atleast. I saw a HD 7950 today for 45 quid, is it worth that? if so, any good?
Yeah well worth it Billy if its the 3 gig version :). Just make sure its not advertised as spares or repair ;D.
I didn't see your last reply until now Rob, it's been giving me hassle since my last post big time but I went and got the 7950 3GB version yesterday, I think it was a good bargain, it looked brand new. My only concern was, it's bloody HUGE so I thought, 'how the hell am I going to get it in?' lol but I did in the end and now everything is running smoothly thank god! bring on gaming! I'm back ;D ;D ;D ;D
Thanks for the help Rob.
Well done Billy and i'm glad you've sorted out your problem :).
