I've been playing this game since 2008, briefly on PS3 and majority on Xbox. Been few years since i have played regularly though. Last few years been predominantly on PC.

hey Steve you mentioned playing on xbox/ps3 consoles , did you play cod4 on them ?
if so how did you get on compared with playing on a pc ?
After many years of me playing cod4 on a pc i had a go with playing it on a ps3 and just found it impossible to get on with , I think the mouse and keyboard is a far superior way of playing cod4 than a console handset ! but thats just my opinion and i guess its just what you are used to .

Chris I agree having played pc for years and having to get used to consoles with my son's was a night mare pc all the way for me
All games are designed on pc's,, but unfortunately for us pc gamers console are and always will be more popular, because they take up less room in under 25s bedrooms, they look more modern and are less hassle and cheaper than pc's
But you can't beat a pc for realism and accuracy
There is a huge difference in playing shooters on a PC and on a Console.
i do like the console but i hate shooters on the Console cause its just impossible.
i think there ppl that do use a keyboard and mouse on console, cause it is possible to do so.
i did get destiny for PS4 wich is a shooter where u can do story mode with ur friends and alot of more stuff wich bungie did a great job on but u also can play online against other players as PvP but that i never play.
apart from that i mostly dont play shooters on console, but all other games play mostly beter on a console then on a pc apart from shooters and mmorpgs then

Yeah I started a bit on ps3 back in 07, mostly messing around in hardcore because my internet was god awful at the time.
Transitioned to Xbox to try out Halo 3 (heard lots of good things about it at the time) but didn't enjoy the serious aspect of the game, just played it for the fun customs.
Anyway I basically played cod4 and tried the new cods as they came out, but the advantage for someone having "host" on console was so ridiculous it just wasn't fun.
I made a good few youtube video got a small following thanks to my mates who were blowing up on youtube at the time, making videos added a new aspect to the game that made it interesting for us.
I started playing very seriously when black ops 1 came out, imo its the best cod on console after cod4 obviously. (barely played bo2 and havent tried ghosts or AW, so i have no frame of reference for those) that changed the game again for me and made it interesting for awhile...
Anyway without a doubt PC is the superior way to play Fps games,a lot more muscle memory involved.
I would have made the change years ago but i knew i would have to re-learn how to shoot and mostly because all my mates were on xbox.
I already prefer it and cant imagine any argument for consoles over pc for FPS games.
Hope I didn't rant on.
